The Sweetwater Zone of the Boy Scouts of America is part of the San Diego-Imperial Council and is in the Southwest corner of the United States. The San Diego-Imperial Council is bordered by Mexico on the South, the Pacific Ocean on the West, Camp Pendleton, Fallbrook, Pala, Palomar Mountain, Warner Springs, and Borrego Springs to the North, and Arizona on the East.

Sweetwater Zone encompasses the following communities and zip codes: National City/Lincoln Acres (91950), San Diego/Bay Terraces/Skyline/Paradise Hills (92139), Bonita/Sunnyside (91902), Southwest Chula Vista/Rancho Del Rey (91910/91911)Otay Ranch/Rolling Hils Ranch (91913/91914), Eastlake (91915),  Imperial Beach (91932), San Ysidro (92154), and South San Diego (92173).

All schools within the following school districts are located within the Sweetwater Zone:  Chula Vista Elementary School District, Sweetwater Union High School District, National School District (National City), South Bay Union Elementary School District, and San Ysidro Elementary School District.
